Family Tree work

For the past few days I have been reviewing the information on the Garratt family and the Rhoda Goodmurphy/Joel Williamson branch.
I have received information from Andy Banks who descends from the Williamson family, and have been revising/updating my records.
As to the Garratt family, I have always had the name spelled as Garrett, but in reviewing Andy's information and going through information in Ancestry.Ca, it looks like the correct spelling is Garratt. I am going through all my documentation and revising it. I will also have to go through my Family Tree Maker file, and the Family Tree file that is now residing on the Goodmurphy Family website (it was an upload of my FTM file).
Needless to say, this is all going to take some time.
One positive thing, is that it takes my mind off work for a while.

Carlton's Birthday

Today was Carlton's birthday. He spent his birthday running us to the hospital. He then took me (Pat) to breakfast. Then we went to the video store to take back some movies we watched last night. Then we went back to the hospital amd waited for Aileen. Parking today cost $24.00. After we picked up Aileen, we stopped at a Donut store for a coffee and Aileen had some soup. Then he took us to his friend's place in Scarborough where we had parked our car. We got on the 401 a little bit before 2 pm and were back in Trenton by about 3pm. Aileen slept most of the way.
Back to work for me tomorrow.

Aileen's Colonoscopy

Aileen had another Colonoscopy at Sunnybrook Hospital today.
We got to the hospital around 8 am, and she went into the prep room around 8:30 am. She went to the procedure room around 9:30 am and came back around 10:30 am. We had to wait until 12 am before she could leave.
Dr Saibil advised us that he could not find a stricture, so he did not put in the balloon. There is evidence of mild Crohn's. So he doesn't know what is causing the abdominal pain (higher up). So we have to go back to see him on Feb 1st at 3 pm.
In the meantime, she is hoping that the Remicade will soon bleed out of her system, as she is still having joint problems - a side effect of Remicade.
She is supposed to be starting Humira - similar to Remicade - but hopefully less side effects.
Life can be a series of trials.
